Article Writing Tips - You Must Have an End Goal in Mind

The best way I know to write really effective articles is to write with an end goal with an end. Simply put, your article has to have a defined purpose. Is it get more subscribers? To make more direct sales? Whatever the purpose is, you have to define it before you start writing.

If you don't have a purpose or an end goal with your article, what you are likely to do is to just write your article in a haphazard manner. This leads to a poor article with no direction. On the other hand, let's say your goal is to get subscribers for your acne newsletter. You would perhaps write an article with the topic being a step-by-step guide to treating acne. And you would lead them in to sign up to your newsletter at the end.

Your goal with this step-by-step guide is to simply educate your readers on how to treat acne. If you ramble on about your favorite sports team in the article or direct your readers to a website that talks about something else other than acne, then you will lose your readers.

As you can see, this article was focused on emphasizing the importance of writing articles with an end goal in mind. If it's to get more subscribers for your newsletter, write up some quality information. If it's to get more sales, make sure you write quality pre-sell information with a slightly more sales like tone especially in your article's resource box, but don't go overboard.
